Mission

Western forest industries museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting the experience of early pacific northwest logging and logging railroads in both exhibit and operating form for the benefit of current and future generations.

Promote the interest in the evolution and history of logging methods in the northwest.

Financial Statement Notes

PART III, LINE 4:

Western forest industries museum has railroad collections that are held for public exhibition and education. The collections are comprised of locomotives, locomotive storage and display buildings, track maintenance equipment, passenger rolling stock, freight equipment, and shop equipment. Locomotives are restored and made available to the public through rides and visits. They are located at mount rainier scenic railroad.

The organization believes that it has no uncertain tax positions and it is no longer subject to income tax examination by taxing authorities for fiscal years before june 30, 2012.
