Our mission is substantially advanced through the dedicated service of volunteers who contributed approximately 7,000 hours during the fiscal year. Volunteers primarily support our organization through: 1.environmental restoration projects, including invasive species removal, native planting, and habitat monitoring, which directly further our conservation objectives; 2.community education through leading workshops and educational tours, helping to build public awareness and support for environmental protection; and 3.governance and strategic leadership provided by our volunteer board members, who contribute their expertise to guide organizational decision- making, ensure fiscal responsibility, and strengthen community partnerships. These volunteer contributions enable us to significantly extend our programmatic impact while fostering deeper community engagement with environmental stewardship.

THIS YEAR, WE INITIATED A VEGETATION MONITORING PROJECT ACROSS SEVERAL SITES TO BETTER QUANTIFY THE IMPACT OF OUR RESTORATION EFFORTS.

OUR OUTREACH INCLUDES EXPERT-LED COMMUNITY EVENTS, INTERACTIVE MEETINGS, AND CONTENT FOR OUR GROWING COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK. THIS FISCAL YEAR, FOSC HELD 19 EVENTS AND SAW A 12% INCREASE IN SUBSCRIBERS ACROSS PLATFORMS.
