“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Hunger ReliefThe Foundation is one of the largest contributors to food banks and hunger-relief programs in the neighborhoods it serves. In addition, it is a proud supporter of nourishing neighbors (formerly Hunger Is), a proprietary program working to eradicate childhood hunger in America. Nourishing neighbors raises awareness, engages volunteers, and raises funds to support innovative and effective programs throughout the country that focused on ensuring all of our neighbors have access to health food. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: VeteransThe Foundation is proud to recognize the enormous sacrifice made by our Veterans, especially those who are injured while defending the freedoms we all enjoy. It has specifically focused on recent Veterans for post-September 11th conflicts. It raises funds and focuses its donations to organizations working in its neighborhoods to: Support veterans as they gain access to civilian employment Provide access to health care and support groups for the veterans and their families Support the families of fallen heroes OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Health and WellnessThe Foundation believes that it can be an integral part of its community. It has invested in its neighbors and the overall wellbeing of its community.
