“PART III LINE 28: During 2022 the organization had 44 teachers and 17 support staff with approximately 800 students in grades K through 11. Students scored well in national exams with most scoring an A or A+. Enrollment remains strong due to high test scores, which gives credit to the teachers' methods of instruction. Admission of girls to the school rose to about 40% of the student body. These girls have taken an active role in preventing underage marriage of girls in the area. Girls in general are doing better than boys in the school, as well as in national examinations.”

“REASONABLE CAUSE FOR LATE FILING: The 2022 Treasurer, Dianna Propson, became ill with stage 4 cancer in January 2023. She was not able to complete the 990EZ by the May 15 due date, due to some items needing clarification by the President, who was out of the country at the time. We believe a filing extension was prepared through November 15, but we cannot locate an e-file confirmation indicating it was accepted. Dianna unfortunately passed away on October 11, 2023. As it appears that the return may not have been extended, we respectfully request that any late filing penalties be abated if that is the case.”
