DURING 2020, ECI STAFF WORKED WITH 114 FAMILIES THROUGH THE EARLY CHILDHOOD INITIATIVE PROGRAM.

SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO 69 CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM IN 2020.

IN 2020, WELCOME BABY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNITED WAY OF DANE COUNTY AND THE ROAD HOME, ANOTHER NON-PROFIT, TO EXPAND SERVICES TO THE ROAD HOME PARTICIPANTS IN AN INITIATIVE CALLED BUILDING FUTURES. HBTS IS DESIGNED TO SERVE PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS WITH IDENTIFIED MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS WHO ARE UNABLE TO CONNECT TO MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING DUE TO SIGNIFICANT BARRIERS TO ACCESSING RELEVANT, CONSISTENT, TIMELY MENTAL HEALTH CARE. HBTS AIMS TO PROVIDE NECESSARY MENTAL HEALTH INTERVENTION TO FAMILIES DURING VULNERABLE PERIODS IN THEIR LIVES AND DEMONSTRATE THE UNMET NEED FOR AND EFFICACY OF INTEGRATING HOME VISITING AND IN-HOME MENTAL HEALTH CARE AS A PROMISING MODEL FOR SERVICE DELIVERY IN OUR COMMUNITY.
