“Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28a: The mission of Its Time For Kids is to reward at-risk youth for positive behaior with recreational, educational, and cultural programs, and to encourage them to repeat these pro-social activities on their own, with the broader goal of their making better choices in life.Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28b: Our Childrens Activities Program serves as the core program of the organization. The children served are from 6 to 18 years of age. Children in foster care and group homes have often been removed from their homes, due to abuse or neglect, and have very limited opportunities to learn pro-social activities. Without exposure to pro-social activities, these kids become at-risk for a variety of negative behavior, such as school dropout, drug abuse, and crime”
