Radio and Internet Outreach - Radio - Sound Insight Radio Program on 1050AM Seattle and 970AM Spokane continues to be the most listened to program on Sacred Heart Radio, Catholic Radio for the Northwest. Sound Insight is on the air for a one-hour spot every weekday at 8am and 11pm PST. During the program, Dr. Curran offers listeners insight into their Catholic faith by drawing on his theological knowledge, personal insight, scripture, Church teaching and the writings of the Saints. In addition, humor, engaging stories and guest interviews add variety and interest to the program. According to a TFR survey and response from our Fund Drive callers, the number of listeners is growing rapidly and listeners highly value the show. St. Valentine Radio in Amarillo TX began airing Sound Insight in 2010 and the listener base is growing in Texas now as well. In addition to the Sound Insight, Dr. Tom Curran is the facilitator for the Archbishop's Hour with Archbishop Alex J. Brunett every Thursday on Sacred Heart Radio in the Northwest. This program was discontinued when Archbishop Brunett retired, but Archbishop Sartain will be restarting the Archbishop's Hour with Dr. Curran as the facilitator in the fall of 2011. Internet - Through the MyCatholicFAith.org, the ministry offers three outreach ministries - RosaryLive.com, online faith formation courses and daily scripture reflections.. In addition, the website is a go-to source for Catholic News, Blogs, Podcasts, and downloads of the radio program. This year, we have expanded our internet outreach to include the "I Love My Catholic Faith" Facebook Fan Page, which continues to grow rapidly and at year end was over 15,000 members.

Faith Formation Resources - The ministry produces thousands of high quality, affordable books as well as presentations on DVD, CD, MP3 download. The book series on the sacraments has been a best-selling series by Dr. Tom Curran and the second book in the series, "Confession: Five Sentence That Will Heal Your Life" was published in 2010 and had sold over 5600 by the end of the year. Dr. Curran's first book in the series, "The Mass: Four Encounter with Jesus That Will Change Your Life" was a CBMA best-seller in the first few months after its publication at year end had sold approximately 13,000 copies. Trinity Formation Resources offers over 100 CD, DVD and MP3 series by presenters such as Tom Curran, Janet Smith, Fr. Tom Forrest. Mary Beth Bonacci, and Carl Olson. All of these resources are available on our storefront at www.MyCatholicFaith.org. These resources are intended to inspire, equip and nurture the spiritual growth of Catholics. The series were sold at prices well below the market price for comparable products, and many were donated to individuals and groups who could not afford them.
