Mission

Every 15 seconds a child dies from lack of clean water. We teach water deprived communities to use the rain as a sustainable water supply to stop these needless deaths. Our corporate partners pay all administrative expenses so 100% of public donation directly funds projects.

IRS990/Desc0SAVE THE RAIN HAS HELPED OVER 300,000 PEOPLE GET CLEAN DRINKING WATER, IN 41 EAST AFRICAN VILLAGES, THROUGH RAINWATER HARVESTING. OUR CORPORATE PARTNER COVERS ALL OPERATIONAL EXPENSES SO THAT 100% OF PUBLIC DONATION DIRECTLY FUNDS PROJECTS. THIS YEAR Just over 28,000 people including 2,765 primary school students, in 5 new villages got access to clean water. We also retrofitted another 7 school systems to improve their functionality and ease of maintenance. Weve built another 329 residential rainwater harvesting systems and still to date, have a 100% repayment rate in the Womens Water Initiative. And now, we have a huge project that is about to begin that will bring another 23,800 people the same life sustaining assistance. Weve distributed 3400 additional Moringa trees this year, and have introduced a higher level of sustainable agriculture to the primary school students
