“An independent accountant prepares the return. Prior to filing, a draft is sent to the treasurer and subsequently distributed to the to the board for review and approval. The treasurer communicates any questions or changes to the independent accountant based on the board review. Once the board approves the return, a final copy of the return as it will be filed with the irs is issued to the treasurer.”

“Each year,a copy of the conflict of interest policy is made available to the entire board. In turn, each board member is required to sign a statement that they have read the policy and are in compliance with it.”
