“Membership in fhna is open to all persons who reside within the fhna boundaries and who are ages 16 years or older. The board of directors seeks to schedule and convene general meetings 4-5 times during the year.”

“In november, a general meeting is held each year to elect the organization's board of directors. The board of directors typically meet 11-12 times during the year. The affairs of fhna are managed by the board of directors in accordance with the bylaws.”

“The organization's treasurer prepares periodic financials and provides a treasurer's report at each board of director meeting. The irs form 990 is prepared from the treasurer's financials & quickbooks file. The organization's president reviews, signs and mails out the irs form 990 report. Generally, the board of directors does not review the form 990 before it is filed.”
