The foundation acquired the following assets and liabilities in the merger with cua, stated at their estimated fair value: assets acquired: cash and cash equivalents $ 180,009 other assets 9,311 investment securities 176,899 ------------ subtotal 366,219 liabilities assumed: accounts payable and accrued expenses 55,660 ------------ net assets acquired in merger $ 310,559 ============”
