Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The Bellevue Sunrise Rotary Foundation is affilitated with Rotary International, a non-profit service organization with clubs throughout the world, headquartered in Chicago, Il. Rotary's mission is "service above self". The Bellevue Sunrise Rotarty Foundation generally raises about $60,000 at it's annual fund-raiser. It then distributes those funds generally throughout the Bellevue, WA and surrounding area to those 501 (c)(3) organizations that approach the Foundation with a grant request for their specific program needs. Occasionally the Foundation donates to causes outside of the United States. Grant requests are generally no more than $5,000.
