To increase Forest Ridge landowner participation in fuel reduction projects and voluntary contributions to Forest Ridge Wildfire Coalition. To do so, FRWC will educate property owners through newsletter mailings, offering free fire risk assessments, distributing educational materials and making personal contacts. The rental of a wood chipper to dispose of biomass in both the fall of 2011 and spring of 2012 is expected to further encourage FRWC property owners to undertake fuel reduction projects.--
