The Healing Lodge of the Seven nations is a Native American youth residential treatment facility which provides a safe and caring healing environment for all adolescents, and their families, in need. The Healing Lodge also has Aftercare, Tribal Involvement, and Outpatient Mental Health programs. In addition, the Healing Lodge is building a new Family Wellness Center that will house the Outpatient Mental Health, Outpatient SUDS, and a Medical Clinic.

“The financial director, working with its outside cpa firm, reviews the return for completeness, accuracy, and truthfullness. Only after the financial director has completely reviewed and agreed to the return, is it then signed by the financial director. The document is available for review by any board member at any time.”
“Because our board of directors are all members of local native american tribes, and the executive director is also a local tribal member, and we employ many local native americans, there are frequent opportunities for a conflict of interest. Disclosure is an in the moment ongoing requirement, whether it be for the awarding of a contract, dealing with relations, whether for employment or treatment, and many other possible situations. This is a common occurance in the native american community. Every possible conflict of interest issue is carefully explored and steps are taken to mitigate possible conflict of interest. Should the executive director be related to an employee, she will recues herself from any employment dealings and will not directly supervise the relative. Should a relative seek treatment at our facility, they will not be counseled by a relative. Should a board member have a possible conflict of interest in the awarding of a contract, they identify the situation and the board decides whether they are involved in any discussion or decision making.”
