“Medical support services: pregnancy related(offered via medical interpreter service: pregnancy testing: pregnancy tests are all pharmaceutical level urine tests and performed by a licensed nursing professional. The test is administered and results given in a timely fashion (usually about 15 minutes from the time of the medical intake and administration of the urine test.) first trimester ultrasound: ultrasounds are performed by a licensed registered nurse trained in ultrasound. Ultrasounds confirm an intrauterine pregnancy by three points: gestational age determined by crown/rump measurements, fetal cardiac activity tracing, and visually determining that the pregnancy is placed in the uterus. All ultrasounds are administered by our nurse professionals under the directorship of our volunteer medical director (licensed practicing ob/gyn). Sexual health (offered in any language via medical interpreter service): limited std/sti testing and treatment: std/sti testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea is administered through a urine test. The specimens are tested at the center for disease detection located in texas. All tests are sent once per week via ups and the results are obtained within 24-48 hours by a confidencial web portal encrypted system. If a positive result is received, the medical doctor prescribes treatment from a local pharmacy. Contact is made with the client and treatment is administered onsite under the supervision of a registed nurse of care net. Proper state/local filings through the health department are completed. Sexual integrity education during the client's appointment allows a full rounded and educated future choice to ensure a healthy life style in relationships free from the worry of diseases. All education and information is approved and overseen by our medical director and delivered by our licensed nursing staff. If the client should choose to meet with a personal support mentor they may to review a curriculum of healthy lifestyle choices and goals.”

“Educational support services: parenting: earn while you learn: in 2005 the center improved the parenting support education program with the acquisition of a quality parenting education curriculum, earn while you learn, through generous supporters. All positive pregnancy testing clients were offered enrollment to this program allowing individual mentoring sessions. In 2010, the center began offering individual as well as group class sessions. The clients are able to meet with nurses and trained support mentors to learn a well-rounded program including pre-natal, nutrition, prf yeparation of your home and family, birthing and newborn care and preparation of your home and family as well as a variety of other pertinent subjects for parents. Each session allows the client to "earn" vouchers to redeem at our on-site baby boutique for new and slightly used maternity and baby items for their growing family. The clients are eligible for the program up through the child's first two years of life. All moms and partners are eligible for this support program when they obtain their pregnancy test and/or ultrasound at the center.”
