It was agreed that the Executive Director would be compensated $70,000 per year for services rendered and additional expenses are eligible for reimbursement such as lodging and travel, and a cell phone allowance is granted. The Board reviews and approves the Past President's, Jane Stencel's, compensation for services they provide to the organization in the capacity of HELP and Professional Development Coordinator on an annual basis. When Jane's compensation is discussed at the Board meeting, Jane is required to leave the room while the remaining Board members vote on her final compensation.”
