“Line 2 explanation - two are married (connie and max bischoff) and three are members of the same law firm (steve jones, jon neill and carol hunter).”

“Line 8 explanation - minutes of all board meetings taken contemporaneously with the board meeting, distributed to board members after the meeting and reviewed for approval at the following board meeting. Notes are also kept on the public relations committee which has discretion to make decisions within the budget constraints set by the board.”

“Line 11b explanation - the form 990 was reviewed by the president and the treasurer, both of whom are board members, and the executive director. It is available to other board members upon request.”

“A committee is empowered to review compliance on an annual basis.”

“The executive committee meets on an annual basis to review compensation for the executive director, who is the only full-time employee. The executive committee does compare the salary of the executive director to similar positions in the local area as well as to those holding comparable jobs across the country. Final salary is approved by the full board of directors. There are no other full-time paid employees. The hourly wage set for the executive director's office assistant is determined by the executive director with input from the board.”
