Mission

LOEX is dedicated to the support and promotion of nonprofit libraries, the development and continuing education of library personnel, and the promotion of information literacy through education and the exchange of ideas for the benefit of its members as well as the public.

Program Services

Description	Grants	Expenses
LOEX hosted an annual virtual conference featuring over 125 presenters leading 62 breakout sessions about information literacy and library instruction for 500 librarians. Materials from these sessions were made publicly available via LOEX's website.	$0	$68,498
LOEX publishes for its members a quarterly publication featuring practical articles by teaching librarians; 4 issues were published during 2020-2021 with 300 copies printed and mailed each time along with the issues also being made available online (with eventual access to the public); the typical article is downloaded over 100 times in the first year. Additionally LOEX publishes a monthly current awareness newsletter, each accessed approximately 1,000 times.
