Profile
Community of Faith Mission, Inc. is the only emergency winter shelter program serving homeless men, women and families in the Greater Williamsburg Area. Collaborating with faith partners, the organization provides three meals a day, 126 nights of safe shelter and other resources to the area's most vulnerable citizens during the coldest months of the year. The shelter rotates weekly to a different host location where guests meet caring volunteers and staff. COFM collaborates with other community resource providers and makes regular referrals for medical care, rapid re-housing and other social services. The organization is front line help for people who are coming from evictions, off the streets, out of woods, or out of jail and serves as the bridge between living unsheltered and finding permanent housing.
