To create collective action to remember those affected by the tragedy of September 11th and to turn the events of September 11th into positive action -- by informing and providing volunteer opportunities to serve the community, in particular by turning September 11th each year into a day of volunteer service;-- by keeping the memeory of the events of September 11, 2001 alive;-- by supporting activities and organizations that honor the memory of those who died on September 11, 2001 and continue to serve our country and protect our freedom and liberty; and-- by mobilizing people across the country to work together, in the spirit that followed September 11th, on charitable and educational projects.
