The Tuolumne County Business Council, Inc. (Business Council) is dedicated to developing and supporting the community wellness of Tuolumne County. The Business Council is an organization of senior business leaders (CEO's Presidents, Regional Managers) who have joined together to address key strategic, long term issues affecting the community. The goal is to organize and use the professional leadership of local businesses to collaborate with and assist government in the successful resolution of key countywide issues. The organization was founded in February of 2009 and currently has 35 members.The Council has focused on four key areas of action:The first is the continued generation of public revenues sufficient to maintain the community wellness of the region. Approximately 20% of the Business Council time is devoted to this activity.The second major area of focus is county land use. The Business Council has formed a countywide land use committee with the intent of identifying key areas
