“The isaiah project is a 501c3 urban ministry in the city of cleveland, ohio. Our call springs forth from isaiah 58 with raising our children while it centers on, "liberating those tied down and held back by injustice (yoke), lightening the load of those heavily burdened, freeing the oppressed and shattering every type of oppression." being in relationship with kids and families over the years, we saw the need for emotional healing. With many people carrying burdens and traumas, it became essential to go deeper. We believe safe relationships of trust are necessary to "break these yokes- and share the love of christ. We have thursday and saturday worship at house of miracles, our inner-city church. As well, this past year we became a griefshare site which addresses the trauma of loss. We started our first13-week class and plan to add more in the future. We developed several of our own young mothers to take over our meal ministry which provides a meal with each of these gatherings. In addition is our work in liberia, west africa. Many of our initial kids church sites (10) have developed into their own church plants and are on their own. The team there developed (3) new sites that we currently help to support directly.”

“The isaiah project is a vision for doing ministry with inner city kids, youth and their families. Our desire is to be in a relationship with kids and their families and encouraging them to follow christ while empowering them to live out his purpose for their lives. Persons benefited: kids church - 50-70 locally, 3 other local churches(10-40 each), 10-12 in liberia w. Africa(50-100). Youth church - 30-50 locally, 1 local in other kids church site(10-30). House church - 1 locally(8-15 members). On hold due to covid.”
