“The local has two classes of members. Regular members are actively employed in bargaining units represented by the local. Regular members have voting rights. Associate members are those not employed in bargaining units represented by the local. Associate members do not have voting rights.”

“Effective april 28, 2017 the local was placed into trusteeship and a deputy trustee was designated to attend to the affairs of the local. As a result, all officers of the local were relinquished of their position. While the local is in the trusteeship, all voting rights have been suspended, with full decision-making authority being exercised by the deputy trustee.”

“The regular members of the local have the right to elect members of the local's governing board as their terms expire.”

“The organization does not have other committees with the authority to act on behalf of the governing body.”

“The organization provided the trustee and deputy trustee with a copy of the form 990. The form 990 was reviewed by the trustee and deputy trustee prior to filing with the irs.”

“The organization regularly and consistently monitors and enforces compliance with the conflict of interest policy. All decisions and transactions must be approved by the trustee and deputy trustee. If a conflict of interest is noted, approval is denied.”

“The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon request.”
