To advance, promote, and improve the common business interests of performance-based contract administrators that are both public housing agencies as defined in Section 1437a(b)(6) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 and public housing authorities created under state or local law. In furtherance of this purpose, the Association aims to foster collaboration and relationships between the Public Housing Agencies, affordable housing property owners, residents and HUD and further the purposes and intent of the Housing Act of 1937 to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing.

Mission

To advance, promote, and improve the common business interests of performance-based contract administrators that are both public housing agencies as defined in Section 1437a(b)(6) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 and public housing authorities created under state or local law. Membership is open to any Public Housing Agency as defined under the Bylaws, or a component part or instrumentality of such Public Housing Agency or Agencies, that contract with HUD as PBCAs or are interested in pursuing a contract as a PBCA with HUD pursuant to the provisions of the Housing Act of 1937.
