“Copies were provided to each member of the Board.”
“The Bridge International enforces its Conflict of Interest Policy through the following procedures: 1. Disclosure and Recusal: Any officer, director, or committee member with a potential financial interest must disclose all material facts and then leave the meeting during discussion and voting on the matter. 2. Determination of Conflict: The remaining disinterested members determine whether a conflict of interest exists based on the disclosures provided. 3. Evaluation of Alternatives: The board or committee evaluates whether the organization can secure a more advantageous transaction or arrangement that does not involve a conflicted party. If none exists, the board may approve the transaction only if it is fair, reasonable, and in the best interest of the organization. 4. Documentation: All discussions, determinations, recusal actions, and votes are fully documented in the meeting minutes in accordance with the organization s bylaws. 5. Enforcement of Violations: If a board or committee member fails to disclose a conflict, the board investigates the matter and may take corrective or disciplinary action as outlined in the bylaws. 6. Annual Compliance: All directors, officers, and committee members are required to sign an annual statement affirming they have received, understand, and will comply with the Conflict of Interest Policy.”

“The Bridge International operates programs designed to address and alleviate unemployment, homelessness, economic hardship, and crime by equipping underserved populations with financial literacy, entrepreneurial training, and life-skills development. The organization fulfills its charitable and educational mission by providing access to practical instruction, mentorship, and community-based support networks that empower individuals and families to achieve long-term economic stability. During 2024, The Bridge International executed several mission-driven initiatives: Land Acquisition for Economic Empowerment Initiatives The organization purchased a parcel of land valued at approximately $50,000 to support future economic development projects. The property will serve as the foundation for a community-based empowerment hub designed to house entrepreneurial training, workforce development services, and other mission-aligned programs. This capital investment represents a long-term commitment to advancing the economic well-being of the communities the organization serves. VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Grant Program The Bridge International received a $5,000 VITA grant to assist low-income taxpayers with the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns. Through this initiative, the organization provided free tax preparation services, helping individuals access available tax credits, avoid predatory tax preparation fees, and retain more of their earned income. Young World Entrepreneurs Subgrant ??? Jefferson County Education Initiative The organization received a $25,000 subgrant from Young World Entrepreneurs to support educational and entrepreneurial programs for students residing in Jefferson County. These funds enabled the delivery of workshops, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences designed to enhance student readiness for post-secondary education, workforce participation, and entrepreneurial ventures. Collectively, these activities advance The Bridge International???s founding mission by removing economic barriers, increasing financial knowledge, and creating opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency within underserved communities.”

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | The Bridge International operates programs designed to address and alleviate unemployment, homelessness, economic hardship, and crime by equipping underserved populations with financial literacy, entrepreneurial training, and life-skills development. Collectively, these activities advance The Bridge International???s founding mission by removing economic barriers, increasing financial knowledge, and creating opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency within underserved communities. |
