The Construction Science Expo is an annual event, held in late spring at the Durfee Innovation Center in Detroit, MI and the Impression 5 Science Museum in Lansing MI. Middle and High School students who have signed a drug-free pledge are invited to spend a day being exposed to careers in the engineering and construction fields through a variety of speakers and hands-on experiences.

Construction Science Expo provides a hands on learning experience for middle and high school students to be exposed to important trade skills. The Lansing Construction Science Expo, gave over 300 middle and high school students from Lansing School District hands-on opportunities to experience and learn about careers in the construction and engineering industry. In Detroit, over 1,000 students learned about carpentry, electric work and brick laying and the jobs skilled laborers are doing on projects across the state of Michigan.$0$45,978
Detroit Workforce of the Future (DWF) is a sixteen week free training program that introduces high school students to the construction industry, and an opportunity to be permanently hired by one of the many construction companies upon graduation. Students are from the Detroit Michigan area.The program is available to Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) at Cody, Osborn, Pershing, Chandler Park Academy, Covenant House Academy, and Randolph High Schools in the State of Michigan.$0$10,579
The ACE Mentor Program of America, founded in 1994, is a no-cost after- school program that prioritizes workforce development for high school students by connecting them with experts from the design and construction industry.
