“Boulder valley farm families fund & program: this program provides education, community development, and financial support for families who earn their primary income from agricultural businesses and have a newborn. In 2025 the program has 7 families in a cohort who have received sliding scale grants to help offset additional labor costs for covering parental leave, a workshop that covers insurance, child care, farm safety and mental health support services available in the area, and a care package containing items that will be helpful for having a newborn in a farm environment.”

“Flatirons foodshed partnership: the flatirons foodshed partnership (ffp) leverages the power of broad collaboration to identify and launch policies and programs that benefit agricultural producers in the boulder, left hand and st vrain watersheds. We believe that the differences among our members give us strength, catalyzing positive changes that none of our organizations could make on our own. In 2024/2025 we led surveys, hosted focus groups and published a report on the needs of producers and consumers in our region. We also provided small amounts of funding and staff time toward pilot projects and feasibility studies that were highlighted in the report.”
