The organization has a conflict-of-interest policy for both directors and members of the organization's focus teams. Directors and focus team members are required to sign an agreement outlining the confict of interest and confidentialy policy. Any potential conflicts must be disclosed at that point. If a potential conflict of interest later arises, or is discovered, between a focus team member and a nonprofit grant applicant, the member is required to abstain from participating in the focus team discussions and decisions.

Impact 100 greater sacramento gives women a chance to come together to help transform the nonprofit community in our region. As an impact 100 chapter, the organization follow a successful national model that has democratized philanthropy and shown that every woman can be a leader while customizing her involvement to match the time and resources at her disposal. The members of this diverse, volunteer-driven organization combine their financial resources to create a pool of funds that we target toward five subject areas of interest: health and wellness, arts and culture, education, environment and family, after soliciting grant applications from qualified non-profit organizations, our membership then chooses the grant winners, with each member getting one vote in the selection process. Through this method, impact 100 empowers, engages and educates our memberswhile having a positive impact in our community. During the year ended 12/31/24 the organization awarded and distributed three unrestricted grants totaling 75,000 and distributed two restricted grants of 100,00 each from the 2023 award. It also awarded two restricted grants of 100,000 each of which 25,000 was distributed in 2024 and the remainder of 175,000 will be distributed in 2025.

AS AN IMPACT 100 CHAPTER, THE ORGANIZATION FOLLOW A SUCCESSFUL NATIONAL MODEL THAT HAS DEMOCRATIZED PHILANTHROPY AND SHOWN THAT EVERY WOMAN CAN BE A LEADER WHILE CUSTOMIZING HER INVOLVEMENT TO MATCH THE TIME AND RESOURCES AT HER DISPOSAL. THE MEMBERS OF THIS DIVERSE, VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN ORGANIZATION COMBINE THEIR FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO CREATE A POOL OF FUNDS THAT WE TARGET TOWARD FIVE SUBJECT AREAS OF INTEREST: HEALTH AND WELLNESS, ARTS AND CULTURE, EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND FAMILY, AFTER SOLICITING GRANT APPLICATIONS FROM QUALIFIED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, OUR MEMBERSHIP THEN CHOOSES THE GRANT WINNERS, WITH EACH MEMBER GETTING ONE VOTE IN THE SELECTION PROCESS. THROUGH THIS METHOD, IMPACT 100 EMPOWERS, ENGAGES AND EDUCATES OUR MEMBERSWHILE HAVING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY. DURING THE YEAR ENDED 12/31/24 THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED AND DISTRIBUTED THREE UNRESTRICTED GRANTS TOTALING 75,000 AND DISTRIBUTED TWO RESTRICTED GRANTS OF 100,00 EACH FROM THE 2023 AWARD. IT ALSO AWARDED TWO RESTRICTED GRANTS OF 100,000 EACH OF WHICH 25,000 WAS DISTRIBUTED IN 2024 AND THE REMAINDER OF 175,000 WILL BE DISTRIBUTED IN 2025.
