Reynolds, tennessee educators are suing to strike down a statewide ban on "prohibited concepts" in k-12 classrooms as unconstitutionally vague. The lawsuit aims to challenge unconsitutional classroom censorship and protect the rights of teachers. Northwest association of independent schools v. Raul labrador, no. 1:24-cv-00335 (d. Idaho) in n.w.a.i.s. V. Labrador, idaho private schools are challenging a "book banning" statute which applies not only to public schools and libraries, but to private schools and private libraries as well. The lawsuit aims to challenge unconstitutonal government interference and protect the rights of parents and students.”
