The mission of The Humanity Funds is to provide sustainable support and relief to individuals in global crisis areas with a focus on assistance for women and children. The programs of The Humanity Funds primarily in Ukraine include providing community heating points assistance to hospitals in crisis supporting programs to address psychological trauma caused by loss of family members and exposure to war addressing the health needs of women and children and as needed meeting immediate emergency needs after catastrophic events. The mission also includes support for Ukrainian Cultural Identity in face of Russia effort to erase that identity.
The Humanity Funds engages in targeted humanitarian relief in global crisis situations. It operates through local partners that are chosen for their reliability, ethical standards and proven accomplishments. Each such organization is visited in-person and held accountable for any funds or assistance received from The Humanity Funds. The focus in 2022 has been on the critical situation in Ukraine. This focus will continue in 2023 as The Humanity Funds explores the possibility of also advancing education of girls and women in Afghanistan.

| Community Heating and Communication Points in Kyiv, Ukraine. The first, accomplished in 2922, has been widely covered in the press and has acted as the model for the many other heating and communication points in Kyiv. (The Humanity Funds paid for two more such facilities in early 2023, each capable of supporting 100-150 people each at any given time with 450 people or more each on any given day. The facilities were installed in cooperation with The City of Kyiv and the Soloma Cats registered Charity. They provide life-saving heat and communications in blackout periods caused by Russia's attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure. Support for the facilities is ongoing. | $37,430 | $0 |
| There is a critical shortages of Medical Trauma Kits capable of treating battlefield type wounds which sadly also are needed for civilian casualties of Russia's indiscriminate shelling. These kits include breathing tubes, chest closures, military grade tourniquets, etc. The Humanity Funds support has included funds to assemble the kits and procure items locally as well as providing some items difficult to find in Ukraine. The funds provided so far have funded over 20 kits. Much more funding is needed. | $4,317 | - |
| A one room generator program for widows and other needy families tragically impacted by the war was planned and ordered in 2022. These are desperately needed as Ukraine goes through its bitte winter and power blackouts are a daily issue. The program is carried out in cooperation with the Human Rights Division of the Ukrainian National Police. Ten generators are being provided in a first stage. A second stage is being pulled together. Installation at individual homes is carried out by the National Police. The generators are procured in France and shipped to Ukraine. | $3,971 | - |
| Ukraine is very likely the most heavily mined country in the world. And, sadly, mining is not limited to battlefield situations. Children have been kiilled or lost limbs as a result of mines left behind by occupying forces. A Ukrainian charity has specialized in training deminers and equipping them with demining kits. The brave volunteers can only do their dangerous jobs if they have adequate supplies. Our small donation in 2022 and early 2023 has funded 13 kits which were deployed to areas around Kherson and Kharkiv, Much more needs to be done. | $2,500 | - |
| Planning began in 2022 for a 2023 program for psychosocial support for children traumatized by the war. Support is also planned for the Kyiv Children's Hospital. | - | - |
