“Compensation structure is based on a combination of grant funding levels, market rate analysis and equity-centered pay philosophy. For example, our contracts with Multnomah county use the 2023-24 market rate benchmarks for each position. We then apply an equity lens to ensure all staff receive a living wage in Portland, with additional considerstion for education, professional experience and multilingual capacity. All proposed salaries are reviewed by the County and must be formally approved during the contracting process.”

For example, our contracts with Multnomah county use the 2023-24 market rate benchmarks for each position. We then apply an equity lens to ensure all staff receive a living wage in Portland, with additional considerstion for education, professional experience and multilingual capacity. All proposed salaries are reviewed by the County and must be formally approved during the contracting process.
