Mission

Our Friend Christopher Charities is dedicated to improving the lives of brain cancer patients and young adults in our community in memory of Our Friend Christopher Miles. Through our three core programs: Patient Support Advocacy and Research and our Scholarship Program we are able to improve and inspire the lives of others.

Program Services

Brain Cancer is the leading cause of Cancer related deaths in children under the age of 19. With the poor prognosis of many brain cancers and very few therapies to treat a childs brain cancer they are often left to out of state trials to treat their cancer creating additional expenses for the families. Our Friend Christopher offered patient support to multiple families with children battling brain cancer in 2025.	$13,796	$13,796
Through Our Friend Christophers 2025 Research and Advocacy Efforts we were able to support many significant outcomes for the brain tumor community. These include: 1. The FDA-approved 1 new brain cancer therapies. 2. $10 million was approved for glioblastoma research through CDMRP. 3. Our advocacy also led to the introduction of the Brain Tumor Act a pivotal piece of legislation enhancing support for those impacted by brain cancer.	$0	$7,115
