Form 990, Part VI

The executive committee consists of the chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer, and such other directors as might be deemed appropriate. The executive committee has the authority to act on behalf of the board of directors when the board is not in session, reporting to the board any actions at the next following meeting of the board. However, the committee does not contemporaneously document meetings held or actions taken between board meetings. The form 990 is reviewed by the treasurer of the board and ceo. It is signed by the ceo. While the center does not have a separate conflict of interest policy in place, the bylaws state the following: directors shall from time to time and as deemed appropriate by that director declare any and all real of perceived conflicts of interest to the board of directors and shall abstain from voting on any issue where a conflict of interest is present. The process for determining compensation for the ceo includes the review and approval of a three year contract by the board of directors using data analysis of comparable positions. The process and approval is reflected in board meeting minutes. The organization responds to oral and written requests of the governing documents, policies and financial statements within a reasonable time frame and provides the information requested without restrictions.

Management believes that the entity has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting its annual filing requirements, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements. The center would recognize future accrued interest and penalties related to unrecognized tax benefits and liabilities in income tax expense if such interest and penalties incurred. The center's advertising activities resulted in no unrelated business income taxes for the year ended june 30, 2024.
