| UNITED STATE - In 2023 we brought over 13 students to high schools and colleges. We equipped them with a new computer, phone, school supplies, dorm supplies if needed, clothing, spending money so they did not have to rely on their sponsor families for everything, internal plane flights, dental care, mental health counseling as needed, etc. We were entirely volunteer in 2023, so our administrative expenses were minimal. | $173,596 | $59,210 |
| Pakistan - Our mission to support Scout refugees started in Pakistan in late 2022. For 2023 we were supporting up to 60 people, families and principal applicants with P1, P2 or SIV referrals. We rented four large homes, paid numerous Pakistan visa fees to keep everyone legal and paid for all living costs including food, utilities, clothing, etc This operation also included housing and supporting over a dozen of our students from Pakistan while they studied and prepared for their US embassy F1 student visa interview. We also provided the exit fee for each student, as well as plane ticket to the US. | - | $89,551 |

| ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt | 0 | Our effort in 2023 and 2024 centered on the literal extraction/rescue of young high school and college women from Taliban controlled Afghanistan. To do that we created an Underground Railroad of sorts, with men pretending to be there 'mahram', taking great risks getting through checkpoints and moving these young women between safe houses before we got them legally over the border. We had, and still must, protect these people and these young women and were told we must not change our website at all once built (and we haven't in 3 1/2 years). Also, to try to hold off on submitting our 990 so as to make the Taliban, who have a whole Intelligence Directorate monitoring ALL international groups involved with Afghans, think absolutely nothing is happening and that we are in essence not operating. Hence, the delay. But, we can only delay so long or be so horribly out of compliance we'd lose our charity status, so we're having to take this chance by filing. We've managed to get 36 students here, 33 of them young women, many of them harrowing experiences for the girls, but thanks to the Taliban not knowing we're doing it, we've made it happen. We've also gotten over 20 out to other countries. Given the travel ban on travel to the US for Afghans, we're no longer in need of hiding our efforts to pursue education for Afghan Scouts and other deserving young women. |
