The purpose of Preserving the Message is to gather information and store it and make it available to the general public regarding the history of Narcotics Anonymous.

The Preserving the Message not for profit group continued to fulfill its primary purpose of digitalizing archives of Narcotics Anonymous' history, putting on presentations of our mission, and assisting other like organizations in creating their own history publications and archives. In 2025, we published 2 new historical videos on YouTube, 9 blog posts, digitized a member's archives, and convened 10 committee meetings for sharing information and resources related to NA history.$0$854
