Mission
The Fun Clothes Inc primary purpose is to provide free new or gently used clothing to impoverished and homeless students and families in Harnett County schools and throughout the community. We believe every child should dress comfortably and ready to learn.
Program Services

| In 2024, the organization provided free new and gently used clothing to 135 impoverished and homeless students in Harnett County North Carolina and throughout the community. We provide services to any of the 20,500 students in the Harnett County schools serving areas such as: Bunnlevel NC, Spring Lake NC, Lillington NC, Angier NC, Erwin NC, Dunn NC, Coats NC, Buies Creek NC, Sanford NC, and Cameron NC. The Fun Clothes Inc have supported children and families in surrounding communities such as: Fayetteville NC, Linden NC, and Wade NC with new and gently used clothes. Approximately 24 volunteers have made this possible by donating nearly 321 volunteer hours of service to the organization. During the year, the organization received over 11,000 pieces of clothing donated by individuals in Harnett County, North Carolina, and surrounding areas such as Raleigh NC, Fayetteville NC, Linden NC etc. Our program mission total at $686 but additional funds are needed to operate at full capacity. The late filing was due to an unintentional oversight. As a small, volunteer-run organization with limited administrative resources, we misunderstood the filing deadline and unfortunately did not realize the form was past due until recently. Upon discovery, we took immediate steps to correct the oversight by completing and submitting the required return as soon as possible. We have since implemented procedures to ensure this does not happen again, including calendar reminders and assigning a board member to monitor future filing requirements.
