Mission

The mission of lippert cares foundation is to provide support to lippert team members who are facing unexpected hardship and to engage in charitable outreach that benefits the communities where lippert is located.

The lippert cares foundation provides grants to those who have experienced an unforeseen emergency or a series of events that has created a hardship that would be life-altering in a negative way without the assistance of the foundation. These grants are reviewed by the nonprofit board and do not need to be paid back.

Disaster relief assistance charity's disaster relief program, also known as the emergency relief program, will provide financial assistance to employees with urgent financial needs resulting from any sudden, unexpected, or unusual disaster ranging from largescale catastrophic events (e.g., natural disasters, wartime events, pandemics, and other government-declared disasters, etc.), to limited disasters that may impact a smaller number of individuals (e.g., flooding, house fires, tornados, etc.). Such qualifying events must be unforeseen and outside the control of the employee. The initial maximum grant award is expected to be 10,000, but this amount may be changed by the board of directors.

Hardship assistance charity's hardship assistance program, referred to as the hardship program, will provide financial assistance to employees with urgent needs resulting from a series of (two or more) sudden, unexpected, or unplanned financial stress due to more personal circumstances. Examples of qualifying events include short term illness, victim of domestic violence, crime that has been committed against them, or loss of a spouse. Such qualifying events must be unforeseen and outside the control of the employee. The initial maximum grant award is expected to be worth 5,000, but this amount may be changed by the board of directors. Charity will not provide financial assistance for expenses related to normal car repairs, bankruptcy, normal household expenses, credit card debt, divorce expenses, insurance premiums, medical expenses, or disability.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt6DISASTER RELIEF ASSISTANCE CHARITY'S DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM, ALSO KNOWN AS THE EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAM, WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES WITH URGENT FINANCIAL NEEDS RESULTING FROM ANY SUDDEN, UNEXPECTED, OR UNUSUAL DISASTER RANGING FROM LARGESCALE CATASTROPHIC EVENTS (E.G., NATURAL DISASTERS, WARTIME EVENTS, PANDEMICS, AND OTHER GOVERNMENT-DECLARED DISASTERS, ETC.), TO LIMITED DISASTERS THAT MAY IMPACT A SMALLER NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS (E.G., FLOODING, HOUSE FIRES, TORNADOS, ETC.). SUCH QUALIFYING EVENTS MUST BE UNFORESEEN AND OUTSIDE THE CONTROL OF THE EMPLOYEE. THE INITIAL MAXIMUM GRANT AWARD IS EXPECTED TO BE 10,000, BUT THIS AMOUNT MAY BE CHANGED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

EXAMPLES OF QUALIFYING EVENTS INCLUDE SHORT TERM ILLNESS, VICTIM OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, CRIME THAT HAS BEEN COMMITTED AGAINST THEM, OR LOSS OF A SPOUSE. SUCH QUALIFYING EVENTS MUST BE UNFORESEEN AND OUTSIDE THE CONTROL OF THE EMPLOYEE. THE INITIAL MAXIMUM GRANT AWARD IS EXPECTED TO BE WORTH 5,000, BUT THIS AMOUNT MAY BE CHANGED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. CHARITY WILL NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO NORMAL CAR REPAIRS, BANKRUPTCY, NORMAL HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES, CREDIT CARD DEBT, DIVORCE EXPENSES, INSURANCE PREMIUMS, MEDICAL EXPENSES, OR DISABILITY.
