Covered persons must annually sign a statement affirming they have received the conflict of interest policy, have read and understood the policy, and will comply with the policy.”

Research and education covers the effects these systems can have on various processes of government, including participation rate and inclusivity among voters, and the propensity and ability of elected officials to solve problems collaboratively on behalf of all those they represent as opposed to only a portion of those they represent. We engage interested citizens in educational efforts that expose the deficiencies of our current election system and explore alternative election structures that reward, rather than punish, cooperation and collaborative problem-solving among elected officials. We educate and enlighten a diverse non-partisan community to understand the connection between voting systems and the prospects for making government more efficient, fairer, and more responsive to the needs of all citizens, regardless of party affiliation.”
