“ABH Connecticut, Inc's mission is to administer the existing activities and services of The Devereux Foundation in the state of Connecticut. The purpose of ABH Connecticut is to support individuals with emotional, behavioral, neurological, and intellectual disabilities, and other functional and nervous disorders. ABH Connecticut will oversee and administer a comprehensive health care system for individuals with special needs. Following a holistic understanding of treatment, wellness, and care, ABH Connecticut will offer direct treatment of underlying disorders in the most appropriate setting as well as ongoing education and training for patients, their families, and communities on how to best help affected individuals. Moreover, to ensure broad-based community of care, ABH Connecticut will engage in efforts to educate the general public on the prevalence, impact, prognosis, and treatment of the developmental and behavioral disorders within its purview. As part of its operations, ABH Connecticut will adopt Devereux's advanced philosophy of care and the Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Model of Care. The Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Model of Care integrates the latest scientific and medical advancements with time-tested philosophies and compassionate family engagement to provide practical, effective and efficient care, making a meaningful difference in the lives of the community of patients served, and the world around them. The sole member of ABH Connecticut is The Devereux Foundation. ABH Connecticut had no operating activities during the year. As there were no operating activities for the year, this return was reviewed by the Treasurer and Controller prior to submission to the IRS.”

“ABH Connecticut's sole member is The Devereux Foundation. The number of directors of ABH Connecticut shall be three or such greater number as shall be designated from time to time by the sole Member. The directors shall be elected annually by the Member, and each director shall serve until his or her successor is elected and qualified or until his or her earlier death, resignation or removal.”
