FIRST Robotics Competition FRC Program: FIRST Robotics Competition FRC is a high school robotics program designed for students in grades 9 through 12 challenging them to develop advanced skills in STEM science technology engineering and mathematics through a team-based robotics competition. In FRC students work together to design build and program large industrial-sized robots to compete in complex challenges against teams from around the world. In 2023 our FRC team consisted of approximately 32 high school students who participated in local and regional competitions ultimately qualifying for and competing in the prestigious FIRST World Championship held in Houston Texas. This program fosters technical expertise problem-solving skills and teamwork equipping students with the experience and knowledge needed for future success in STEM-related fields.$0$64,082
Engineering Workshop at La Canada High School: The organization operates an Engineering Workshop at La Canada High School offering hands-on STEM education to 525 students in grades 9-12. The workshop provides practical experience in engineering including building prototypes and using advanced tools. The program is open to all LCUSD students and supports skill development in areas like mechanical and electrical engineering.$0$28,182
FIRST Tech Challenge FTC Program: FIRST Tech Challenge FTC is a robotics program aimed at students in grades 7 through 12 encouraging them to deepen their understanding of STEM science technology engineering and mathematics through hands-on team-based challenges. In FTC students design build and program mid-sized robots to compete in head-to-head challenges developing skills in engineering coding and collaboration. In 2023 our FTC program supported approximately 45 students in grades 7 to 12 who participated in regional competitions mentorship sessions and skill-building workshops. This program equips students with advanced technical skills critical thinking and teamwork abilities laying a strong foundation for future studies and careers in STEM fields.$0$15,213
