Form 990-EZ, Part II, Line 26

As of December 31, 2024, the Foundation had a related-party loan payable of $33,299.01 from Dr. Rufus W. Ewing to fund start-up costs. The loan was advanced by Dr. Rufus W. Ewing. These transactions were not at arm's length. As such, there is no loan amortization/repayment schedule for the transactions. Had it been they were an arm's length transactions; the Foundation would have recorded an Interest Payable on its 2024 balance sheet and a corresponding Interest Expense on its 2024 Statements of Activities based on the prevailing market interest rates for similar commercial loan transactions.
