The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be to save lives by closing the deadly gap in the animal welfare community that for far too long has endangered the lives of abandoned domestic pigeons and doves. To this end, Palomacy Pigeon and Dove Adoptions will provide services that include but are not limited to advocacy, education, rescue, coaching, referrals, veterinary care, foster homes and forever homes for pigeons and doves.

Additional Explanations

Amended return information

The organization determined during an internal review that its prior bookkeeping service did not complete bank, credit card, or payroll reconciliations for a two-year period. Upon reconciliation, multiple accounting errors and misclassifications affecting the 2024 year were identified. These corrections resulted in changes to the organizations reported financial information for 2024, necessitating the filing of an amended form 990. After all corrections were completed, the organization terminated the prior bookkeeping service and engaged a new bookkeeping firm that performs monthly reconciliations and provides regular financial reports, strengthening internal controls and oversight.
