Compensaton of ceo, executive director, or top management official: the vp of human resources compiled compensation data from several sources that provided comparable data (such as the georgia center for nonprofits compensation survey and feeding america national survey of all food banks). This information was provided to the hr committee and executive committee of the board. The executive committee then decided on an appropriate merit increase for the ceo based on performance and accomplishments of the atlanta community food bank, inc. 58-1376648 organization for the year. This was documented and communicated directly to the vp of human resources for implementation. Compensation of officers or key employees: the ceo presented recommendations to the hr committee of the board for merit increases and bonuses for the vps and for the cfo. These recommendations were based on the goals and objectives achieved for the year. The hr committee made some revisions to the proposal and then submitted their recommendations to the executive committee of the board. The executive committee reviewed and approved the proposal from the hr committee and the information was recorded and communicated to the vp of human resources for implementation.”
