“the Charity's mission is to establish, administer, and support an integrated network of organizations dedicated to the study, treatment of, and carrying on research and educational work in connection with, emotional, behavioral, neurological, intellectual disabilities, and other functional and nervous disorders. In pursuit of this overall mission, organizations within the network will provide various medical and charitable services, including: (1) residential treatment and prevention services in the communities they serve; (2) encouraging, developing and supporting projects and initiatives in partnership or affiliation with other charitable organizations that offer support and services to individuals with emotional, behavioral, neurological, other intellectual disabilities, and other functional and nervous disorders; and (3) the education, development, and advancement of children, adolescents, and adults of any age under required direction in addition to their intellectual and vocational needs along psychological and psychiatric lines. The Charity will, in furtherance of these purposes and objectives, serve as the central fundraising vehicle to support the programs carried out within the network. Specifically, its activities will consist of securing contributions and grants from philanthropic and governmental entities, supporting programs and scholarships which further the network's overall mission, and making grants to organizations within the network to support and enhance their charitable activities. The Charity will centralize these activities for the network, and thereby secure contributions in an efficient manner that allows the other organizations in the network to dedicate their full activities and attention to their exempt purpose activities.”
