“Columbus ceo collective has developed a collaboration of 29 business leaders focused on a shared vision of creating an inclusive economy by growing black-owned businesses, enhancing financial well-being for individuals and their families, assisting with closing the wealth gap, revitalizing our communities, and contributing to an overall healthier economy in central ohio. The organization held a number of meetings in 2023 to further develop the mission, vision, and goals of the group, as well as defining what work the group would undertake in reference to the goals. There were multiple business transactions that took place within the group that were in line with our goal of black-owned businesses doing business with one another. Further, private equity investment transactions were also part of the engagement. Columbus ceo collective continued to participate in, lead, and financially support various meetings, forums, and roundtables. Our program of work has included information decimation, convening, networking, and aligning ourselves with other community organizations.”
