WATERPURIFICATION SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN REMOTE VILLAGES AND HIGH-DENSITY TOWNSHIPS. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION IN SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND COMMUNITY HYGIENE HAVE ALSO BEEN PROVIDED. A 10 MEMBER ZIMJOURNEY 2013 TEAM TRAVELED TO ZIMBABWE JULY 5- 31, LIVING WITH THE PEOPLE OF THE VILLAGES WHERE OUR TEAM JOINED THEM IN WORKING ON THE PROJECTS MUTUALLY PLANNED. TWO SECONDARY CLASSROOMS WERE BUILT AT THE BURURE VILLAGE, DORM BUILDINGS WERE PAINTED AT THE KUTENDA CHILDREN'S HOME IN MASEMBURA, AND WE FUNDED THE PURCHASES OF TRUSSES AND OTHER ROOFING SUPPLIES FOR A ROOF TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE NEW NENYUNGA MEDICAL CLINIC. OUR GROUP BROUGHT 9 SUITCASES OF MUCH-NEEDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO THE HOSPITAL IN SANYATI. THE TWO NURSES IN OUR GROUP STAYED TO WORK AT THE HOSPITAL FOR A WEEK, THEN SPENT A WEEK AT THE MEDICAL CLINIC IN NENYUNGA. OUR GROUP BROUGHT A SUITCASE FULL OF BIRTHING KITS AND RECEIVING BLANKETS FOR THE EXPECTANT MOTHERS AT THE CLINIC.

TWO SECONDARY CLASSROOMS WERE BUILT AT THE BURURE VILLAGE, DORM BUILDINGS WERE PAINTED AT THE KUTENDA CHILDREN'S HOME IN MASEMBURA, AND WE FUNDED THE PURCHASES OF TRUSSES AND OTHER ROOFING SUPPLIES FOR A ROOF TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE NEW NENYUNGA MEDICAL CLINIC. OUR GROUP BROUGHT 9 SUITCASES OF MUCH-NEEDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO THE HOSPITAL IN SANYATI. THE TWO NURSES IN OUR GROUP STAYED TO WORK AT THE HOSPITAL FOR A WEEK, THEN SPENT A WEEK AT THE MEDICAL CLINIC IN NENYUNGA. OUR GROUP BROUGHT A SUITCASE FULL OF BIRTHING KITS AND RECEIVING BLANKETS FOR THE EXPECTANT MOTHERS AT THE CLINIC.

THE FUNDS GENERATED ARE USED TO PROVIDE SCHOOL FEES AND UNIFORMS, FOOD SUPPLEMENTS FOR THE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AND INCOME TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF DAILY LIFE.
