Mission

The Auxiliary is formed exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. Its primary activity is addressing the needs of patients of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital (the Hospital) by proving charitable services to those patients and their families that would not otherwise be provided by the Hospital. In addition, the Auxiliary engages in activities that involve promotion of the health of the community and advancement of education in areas related to healthcare. The Auxiliary provides the following services to patients of the Hospital: information, waiting room escorts, coffee in waiting areas, supplementing the waiting room environment by maintaining magazines and newspapers, assembling educational material for patient admission packets, assistance with errands, and monitoring website correspondence for patients during their stay at the Hospital. The Auxiliary assists needy patients and their families with basic assistance such as helping the patients without insurance obta
