Mission

Organize and produce major theatrical productions using the sandy city amphatheater and other locations in sandy city at discounted family rates. Involve local talent in the production of the above theatrical productions where applicable. Invite a wide variety of musical groups from around the country to perform for sandy and salt lake valley residents.

Hosted over 30 productions during the summer. These productions varied from musical productions locally produced to nationally recognized musical performance groups.

The principal venue of the Sandy Arts Guild is the Sandy Amphitheater. The Sandy Amphitheater is owned by Sandy City. The management of the Sandy Arts guild is conducted by Sandy City under the direction of the Sandy City Council. All accounting and supervisory functions for the Sandy arts guild is handled thru Sandy City. All 1099's and W2's issued are done thru Sandy City.

Organization's process to review form 990. Since Sandy City provides supervisory oversite of the Sandy Arts Guild, all polices and procedures of Sandy City are applicable to the Sandy Arts Guild. The form 990 is reviewed and signed by the actiong president of the Sandy Arts Guild. The audited financial statements from which the form 990 is prepared is reviewed by the Sandy City council. Sandy City's written policies concerning... Conflict of interest, Proper Disclosures of conflict of interest. Whistleblower policy. Document retention and destruction, and all other employment and supervisory policies and procedures are applicable to Sandy Arts Guild and Sandy City Council is responsible for maintenance and enforcement of the applicable policies.
