Change in interest in net assets of recipient organization 13,688.

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

These funds are to be held to generate earnings to benefit the programs of the organization generally.

PART X, LINE 2:

Guadalupe center educational programs, inc. Is organized as a utah nonprofit corporation and has been recognized by the internal revenue service (irs) as exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(a) of the internal revenue code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3), that qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a)(vi), and has been determined not to be a private foundation under section 509(a)(1). The organization is annually required to file a return of organization exempt from income tax (form 990) with the irs. In addition, the organization is subject to income tax on net income that is derived from business activities that are unrelated to its exempt purpose. The organization has determined it is not subject to unrelated business income tax and has not filed an exempt organization business income tax return (form 990-t) with the irs. Ghc and fog are organized as utah nonprofit corporations and have been recognized by the (irs) as exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(a) of the internal revenue code as organizations described in section 501(c)(3), qualifying for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a)(viii), and have been determined not to be private foundations under section 509(a)(3). Ghc has been determined to be a type iii functionally integrated supporting organization under section 509(a)(3). Fog has been determined to be a type ii supporting organization under section 509(a)(3). Ghc and fog are annually required to file a return of organization exempt from income tax (form 990) with the irs. In addition, the organizations are subject to income tax on net income that is derived from business activities that are unrelated to its exempt purpose. The organizations have determined that they are not subject to unrelated business income tax and have not filed an exempt organization business income tax return (form 990-t) with the irs. Gep believes that each entity has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting their annual filing requirements and, as such, do not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the consolidated financial statements. The organizations would recognize future accrued interest and penalties related to unrecognized tax benefits and liabilities in income tax expense if such interest and penalties are incurred.
