“This legislation establishes the collaborative care uptake fund, directing the arizona department of health services adhs to allocate funds for integrating behavioral health services into primary care settings. We are actively collaborating with adhs to ensure effective deployment of these funds, with implementation slated for early 2025. Furthermore, aps engaged in robust advocacy efforts throughout the year. Notably, we successfully opposed legislation in the 2024 session that sought to expand psychologist prescribing and scope of work. These efforts underscore our commitment to shaping mental health policy and supporting our members in delivering high-quality care.”
